We currently operate two underground mines, Inmaculada in Peru and San Jose in Argentina. We also operate the Mara Rosa open pit mine in Brazil.

We have over 50 years’ operating experience in the Americas and currently have two underground mines in operation, one located in southern Peru and one in southern Argentina as well as an open pit operation in Brazil.

- CURRENT OPERATIONS
The 100% owned Inmaculada underground operation is located in the Department of Ayacucho in southern Peru. It commenced production in June 2015.
InmaculadaThe 100% owned Pallancata silver/gold property is located in the Department of Ayacucho in southern Peru, approximately 160 kilometres from the Arcata operation. Pallancata commenced production in 2007. Ore from Pallancata is transported 22 kilometres to the Selene plant for processing.
PallancataThe San Jose silver-gold mine is located in Argentina, in the Santa Cruz province, 1,750 kilometres south-southwest of Buenos Aires. San Jose commenced production in 2007 and is a joint venture with McEwen Mining Inc. Hochschild controls 51% of the joint venture and is the mine operator.
